New Silkroutes Group Appoints New Chairman

Singapore – 7 December 2016. New Silkroutes Group Limited (“NSG” or “the Group”) has named Mr Ho Sheng as the new chairman of its board of directors.

Mr Ho, who joined NSG’s board as Lead Independent and Non-Executive Director in June last year, will assume the role of Independent, Non-Executive Chairman from 8 December 2016. He has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, especially in Asia’s equity markets.

Mr Ho, who is also the Non-Executive Chairman of Cordlife Group Limited, takes over from Mr Cai Sui Xin, who will step down from NSG’s board to focus on his own businesses. Mr Cai had been Executive Chairman since July 2012 before being re-designated as Non-Executive Chairman in October this year.
